In a blowout game, Kennebunk High School beat South Portland High School Varsity 8 - 1 at Harold Alfond Forum (UNE) on Wednesday. Kennebunk High School outscored South Portland High School Varsity three to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Kennebunk High School added one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Kennebunk High School's defense shut down South Portland High School Varsity for the rest of the game. In the final period Kennebunk High School scored four unanswered goals improving its score and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Kennebunk High School, Forward Player made the hat trick with eight goals.

Showing a super performance, Kennebunk High School's Goalie Player stopped 13 out of 14 shots to earn the win. South Portland High School Varsity's Shannon Tully had just 31 saves on 39 shots.

This was the season's first game for Kennebunk High School.
