Forward Player slams the hat trick and Scarborough High School clamps down to get the shutout victory

In a shutout victory, Scarborough High School won against South Portland High School Varsity 11 - zero at University of Southern Maine on Friday. Scarborough High School scored four unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Scarborough High School added three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for South Portland High School Varsity. In the final period Scarborough High School scored four goals cementing the lead and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Scarborough High School, Forward Player made the hat trick with 11 goals.

Leading the way to a shutout for Scarborough High School, Goalie Player stopped nine out of nine shots to gain the win. South Portland High School Varsity's Philip Densmore had just 51 saves on 62 shots.

This was the season opener for Scarborough High School.
